Don't know if this is the right spot to post this.

Went and hit the rollers yesterday.

From low to high the dyno pulls were
1st Bone stock unmarried run
2nd Cobb stage 1 ots 93
3rd adam+ protune

Car is 100% bone stock with a cobb drop in.

I actually did these runs in reverse order tune+ was the first pull, then ots v400 pull was second pull, and stock was last.

-shop temp was 91* beautiful Florida air
-there was a 20 minute "cool down" in-between each run
-each pull started with the charge air temp at 103*
-4th gear pulls

I have a similar setup, but Adam is doing a E30 tune for me. Let me tell you OTS Stage 1 to Adams E30 tune is seriously nuts day and night difference.

wow so tunes alone make an amazing difference on a stock car. I'm happy to see this. tune seems to be the best bang for the buck.

How much does one pick up with an Adam 93 E10 tune and one of the better aftermarket (but smaller than the DHM race) ICs, aftermarket waste gate actuator (or boomba stock location waste gate), and aftermarket hot.cold side charge pipes??

Correct tunes alone on the ecoboost cars/trucks make a bigger gain than any bolt on minus a turbo which requires a tune.

A custom tune is a necessity. After my intercooler installation I was all excited to go from the stock powertrain calibration by Randy Robles to the Cobb Stage 2. Ha, what a joke the Cobb tune is. I was looking down to see if I left the handbrake on, that's how lame the acceleration was with the Cobb Stage 2. I'm now awaiting my appointment for a local tuner to chassis dyno and tune accordingly.

^^^The only (4 cylinder/FWD) chassis dyno tuners within 50 miles of me (RT Tuning) do not have much experience with the Ecoboost platform.

Does that matter at all (much 'inside' knowledge needed?), or can a competent tuner figure it out quickly, and do a good job anyway??

Personally yes it matters I would never let someone who doesn't have experience with these engines learn on mine..... that's just my $.02 though.

Do the email tunes it's really simple and effective.

The E30/93 tune Adam did for me gave me roughly 40 more WTQ and I'm not sure about WHP. This is stage 1 to the E30 tune, so I'd imagine it's at least that with a intercooler. It also dropped my 0 to 60 by half a second which is kinda both the E30 and Adam being a wizard. Honestly going from 93 OTS Stage 1 to Adams E30 custom tune is like night and day, the car feel like a monster.

Yea, I've had a few people tell me about that shop. I was hoping that's what the response would be :)

^^^ This. If I had known about Adam before I went stage 3, I might have left my FiST stage 1. Those are some impressive numbers.

I don't toot too many peoples horns, but Adam knows what he is doing and I for one could not be happier with his work. I'm running basically a Cobb Stage 3 with a 3" Scorpion exhaust system. I was initially very impressed with Adams 93 map in comparison with the Cobb OTS stage 3 map. However, the E30 tune added a bunch more power everywhere. This fall I will put the car back on the Mustang dyno for one last time and be done with it I think. I am so drawn to the X-37 hybrid, but I've decided to get a new toy (and use the FiST as the daily driver). I might decide to do it but the "pay to play" is fairly steep for the new car I am getting (stock 650hp/650pft). I don't see too many good reasons to further modify the FiST. I need it to be reliable and still get decent fuel economy.
